We gather every Sunday at 12:00 PM on C Avenue in northeast Cedar Rapids. Wherever you have come from, and whatever you bring with you, there is a place for you here.
Welcome
A place to pray, and to be prayed for
House of Prayer Ministries is a new Christian Reformed congregation taking root in Cedar Rapids.
Our congregation is made up largely of families who came to Cedar Rapids from Liberia and across Africa, and we warmly welcome neighbors of every background to worship alongside us.
We are a church plant, which means we are still young — still building, still growing, still learning what God is calling us to be in this city. It also means there is room here, and real work to share.

The Farm & Feeding Ministry
House of Prayer Ministries is planning to open and operate a farm to empower our members and to help feed the homeless in our community. Doing this creates a Christ-like environment that we believe will bring more souls to Christ.

Giving back to the needy, the sick, and the overlooked through charitable projects, counseling, and local outreach.
Infrastructure & Financial Stability
Building long-term sustainability so the ministry can grow, give, and send.
Church Planting
Following the Great Commission by establishing branches locally and abroad.
